De jager is afgebeeld met zijn dolk, boog en pijlen en is met veel oog voor detail vervaardigd door de Franse beeldhouwer Eugène Marioton (1854-1933).

Het is gemaakt van hoogwaardig brons en gegoten door de gerenommeerde gieterij E. Schmoll (Parijs).
