The sculpture is made in the Art Deco style as can be seen in the fine details in the outfit of the female. It is made after the great work by the famous Romanian sculptor Demetre Haralamb Chiparus (1886-1947). Chiparus was known for his exceptional dancer sculptures.
It is made of a good quality polished bronze and it is mounted on a round marble base.

A very beautiful bronze statue, thought it was an Oscar when it arrived. Detailing is gorgeous, casting is very precise. Packaged to perfection, with great care and lots of in-transit protection. Delightful sellers, all in all, a World-Class transaction! A wonderful experience!

Bonjour, alors me voici l'heureux propriétaire d'une superbe statue art déco en bronze , d'une ravissante danseuse . Elle est arrivée dans les délais annoncés et surtout conforme à la description qui en était faite . Encore plus belle en réalité que sur les photos ; je suis comblé par cet achat dont j'ai pu suivre l'acheminement pas à pas , et qui a été expédié avec grands soins.
