A beautiful bronze sculpture depicting Julius Ceasar wearing a long draped toga.
Caesar stands in a commanding pose with his head turned to the right and his right arm extended in a gesture. A scroll is held in his left hand and additional scrolls are laying beside his feet.
The fine detailed sculpture is made with great craftsmanship by the French sculptor Mathurin Moreau (1822-1912). It is cast out of good quality bronze by the foundry E. Godeau in Paris.

Condition: there is a little 'wiggle' in the right arm. This is common because the bronze is cast in multiple parts (not damaged!). It is in very good condition, see images.
